I put Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armor on my last truck and paid around 900 at Sears. I loved that tire. The only one I liked better was the LTX M/S on my work truck. Those things wear like iron.
If I could get rid of the Pirelli tires on this thing now, I would. Sadly Santa isn't going to bring me new tires.

Im sure they are more than worth the extra coin. I would do the same thing in a heartbeat. Problem is money is tight. I can't justify the cost of BFG's when the GY's will get me the same amount of miles out of the set.. I guess I'll wait and see where Im at when these stupid Pirelli's wear out.

I've had Bridgestone AT REVOs on my previous 2000 Nissan Xterra and loved those. Those were the best but these Michelins seem just as good if not better.
Now I have the Michelin LTX A/T 2 on the new F150 and these things are great. This F150 was really sure footed in the snow with great traction. I Paid about $100 less than you for the Silent Armor at a local shop and got a national warranty on all the tires. The tire size was small though, 245/65-17. I wasn't a bit sorry to trade the truck with these, under 1 year, new tires.
