Chill. You haven't been trolled. Go look me up as etalian2005 on TitanTalk.com.

Anyway, he didn't come out with me to drive the trucks. He just wanted me to come back with my recommendation. I drove the 3.7L V6 and it actually had some *****. I would never buy it. But it wasn't a bad motor like the old 4.0L. Now, I was actually impressed with the 5.0. I'd consider getting that motor. It drove nice and had a solid power curve. They didn't have a 6.2L that was available for a test drive. I would have been very interested to check that out. And when an Ecoboost becomes available, I'd love to check that out too. I think he's going to wait until February 1 when Ford Truck Month starts before we actually make a move.

It's a Procomp Stage I lift. It was a little rough riding. Not so much from the front axle, but the back axle was a bit rougher. I'd have to do something about that if it was my truck. And I agree, the tires are not my favorites. I was surprised by how quiet they were. But, definitely not agressive enough for me. I'd prefer either Nitto Trail Grapplers or Toyo M/T's.

The 6.2L trucks feel very nice and bring the driving feel back to what the old 5.4 2V engines used to be. I would never suggest a 2004-2010 5.4 3V to anyone. They make good boat anchors though.
BS The 5.4 is a great engine that has been proven over many years. It's very reliable and has respectable power too. If you like the truck and you get a deal that YOU are comfortable with, Go for it!
