There should be a little black box somewhere prolly under the seat pan or check for a relay in the panel. If it is under the seat it is square, just a hair bigger than the relay. It will only have a couple of wires running to it. Open the little box and there is a relay inside. Try that. It is the sasme relay you can get at your local parts store.

Mine did the same thing - the heater light would stay on for about 15 seconds and then go off, if I tried to activate it again, the light would go off right away.
It was like this for about 3 weeks, in the coldest weather we've had for a while and I couldn't get time to go to the dealer. Then it just started working again.

My drivers seat heat went out the other day. Dropped it off at dealer. The heater pad was bad. It was replaced under warranty. I think I am going to get an extended warranty. Had 3 things go so far this year.I am sure it would be pretty costly to get a power steering switch, heater pad and ac blower module replaced.
