Fusion Key

Hi all, I'm new here & wondering if anyone can help me, I bought a 3 button IKT off of ebay & want to program it to my 2010 XLT. When i bought the truck I added the Ford accessory keypad to my door, Got it programmed OK with my 2 Fobs, When I program my 3 button IKT, how does the door keypad come into the sequence of programming with my other 2 remotes & the IKT? Thanks for any help!

Why would the door kepad have anything to do with the key. You dotn need your key with you to use it!

When I installed the keypad, I had to go thru the 8 time cycling & push any button on my remotes & push the 7-8 & 9-0 simultaniously to program the keypad also & from what I understand, I have to go thru the same routine to program the remote part of the IKT, or am i mistaken?

You have to cycle the new key in the ignition from the on position to off position like eight times to put it into the mode to accept the new key. You don't mess with the door keypad at all. I just did it with my new flip key, worked great.

I will try it when I get the Fusion key, but I thot the truck had to relearn all the remotes which would be the reason for the 8 time cycling including pushing the keypad buttons. I guess I will find out! Thanks for the help!

I didnt think you had to do anything with the keypad. But it was more of a question so hopefully no offense was taken!

But it appears Ruffin-it answered the question!

Its in the owners manual page 126. You will have to hit the button on each transmitter you want to program, ie the new one and any old one you want to still work. I now have three key fobs that work.
