RangerRick, thanks so much for the photoshop, I really appreciate it, that's exactly what I was wanting to see.

I'll try to get some interior shots tonight and post them.

Thanks all for the comments, and for the photoshop. So far the truck is great, haven't really had a chance to test the 5.0 out yet, but the new message center is awesome.
How about Amp boards? I have two small children and a height challenged wife so that was the answer for me. Off went the steps and on went the Amp boards.

Love them.

If anyone is good with photoshop, wondering if they could take the step bars off the pic from my 2009 and paste on the 2011. I'm afraid the brushed aluminum might not mesh with the new truck, but want to see what it will look like. THanks in advance if anyone can help me out.

2009:
That is easily the best looking factory Ford you can buy right now. NICE!!!

Nice Truck, looks like the EB FX4 I test drove in December minus the Ford EB Test Drive Tour stickers. I loved the dash, leather seats and the Tuxedo Black paint. I think you will come to enjoy the 5.0 very soon. I just rolled over 600 miles on mine.

Thanks for the comments all! Really happy with the way the truck turned out, I was worried about the rims, but have to agree with those that have said pictures do not do these new rims justice.

Also, here is a pic with the step bar added, I'm unsure if I like it or not, but it's not as bad as I thought it would be. I wish I could line-x them or get a smoked clear coat on them, but I'm told because they are polished aluminum that nothing will stick to them.

Let me know your thoughts...

I like the step bar. The FX4 has virtually no chrome so I think the aluminum works well and it adds a nice accent.

piercede,

If you could get a p/n off of those steps, I'd greatly appreciate it. And this quote has it on point:

Nice FX4. Those wheels with that color is a great combination.

In that picture, with that light they look just a few shades lighter than the color of the wheels. I'm sure in full sun they will gleam, but I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Thanks, appreciate it. I will look on the other step bar (I've only put the one side on so far to see if I liked it), and see if I can find a part number. But they are the 4" Polished Stainless Steel Step bars that were an option on the 2004-2010 FX4 package. (Might have been on others too, I just only ordered FX4's). But I'll see if I can get a P/N.

Thanks again all.

Great looking truck, but I thought your old truck was great looking too. What made you take the jump to a 11?

Combo of things, got an offer from the dealer on the trade that was very good, and there where about 1500 bucks worth of upgrades I wanted to do to my 2009, all of which were already take care of on the 2011's (Remote start, new grille, harley head's and tail's), so I figured might as well upgrade and apply that 1500 towards the new truck. Plus the new dash screen is very nice, and was interested in trying the new engine.

Loved my 09, but I think the 11's might be even better. Not "oh my lord I have to have it now no matter what" better, but I definately see some improvements.

How do you like the steering compared to your 'old' truck?
