Nite-Shades Project w/ Pics

Did a little project with some VHT Nite-Shades not too long ago and just wanted to share with everyone. I think everything turned out pretty well and I'm happy with it. Still have to do the Ford emblem on the tailgate soon. Thanks 96grimreaper for the ideas.

There's the link to my album. Didn't know how to post them in here.

I also got the idea from 96grimreaper! Way to pioneer a great project. I did my tails the same pwheels, but filled in the blinker/reflector on my heads like 96grim... Looks great!

Thanks for the comments everyone!

ruffn-it - I used Nite-Shade on the tails. They were stock with the chrome border

Looks good but you need to polish and wax them...you can see tons of orange peel in the paint and it looks very dull. If that is the look you were going for then they look awesome. If you want them more factory glossy I would polish.

05BlackFX4 - I wasn't going for the orange peel look. I tried to polish them alot but I guess I didn't do a great job of it. I first wetsanded with 1500 and then used Turtle Wax medium to heavy rubbing compound. Then I used the Nu Finish polish. It didn't really get it as good as I thought. Then I got Maguier's Scratch X 2.0 for fine scratches and rubbed that on. As you said, they are still kinda dull. Any suggestions? I would really appreciate the help. I want to get these looking real good
