2011 Temp guage issue

2011 Temp guage issue - help from other 2011 owners appreciated for comparision.
Anyone else experienced something like this? Truck is reading in-accurate outside temperature when the engine is warmed up and you first start the truck. Outside temp is 20, engine is warm, and temp display shows 70! Once you start driving it corrects itself, however the problem with this is the remote start uses the outside temp as it's guide on how to climate control the truck, therefore it doesn't warm it up cause it thinks it's 72 outside, and actually it turns the AC on.
Just curious if anyone has experienced this, and if there is a fix? Also, anyone know where the sensor is located so I can look and see if it can be adjusted?
Thanks in advance.

Well, not always just a remote start issue, but the problem is, a lot of times I sit in the truck with it running while my wife is in the store, if I have shut it off for any reason, when I turn it back on after a few minutes, the truck thinks its 80 degrees outside, so it turns the AC on due to the AUTO setting, and will blow cold air. The truck does not adjust while idling either. The strange thing is, if I do not turn the truck off, it does not change the temp while idling, only if I shut it off for a few minutes.
Anyway, this does not seem right to me, and none of my previous 4 F-150's have done this, as well as my wifes explorer does not do this. So to me, either it is a design flaw with the new engine setup on the 2011's, or I have a faulty temp gauge.
Thanks for the responses, just thought I would see if anyone else out there has experienced this problem.

Have seen the issue your describing, but didn't realize it'd effect climate control. It should be using only interior temp sensors to determine climate settings.
I've only owned a Ford for three weeks since my '96 Ranger, but my previous GM products were quite aggressive about turning on the A/C to dry the air. Quite annoying in my opinion, per the manual, they said this should happen down to 40* F.
