I originally had the white/grey two tone FX4 trim on my '08. I really liked the appearance of my old truck but the silver is growing on me, I came close to ordering white again but decided I wanted a change.

It 'pops' a little better with the black heads/tails & grill compared to a lariat or XLT with the chrome.

How much is the upcharge for eco boost and what is the difference in mileage?

Depends on how usable you want to be on the road. I'm on pavement 90% of the time and I do tow a lot of stuff.

I was set to order a 4door raptor before I ordered this truck. After driving one on tight city streets and seeing the gas mileage gauge staring at me the whole time.

I had to get the FX4.

If you offroad a lot more, maybe raptor is for you.

Assuming you pay full price and $3 gasoline it will take 115500 miles. If you pay x-plan it's 95942 mile. If you get the $500 but pay full price it's 38500 mile, and x-plan it's 18940 mile.

If you click the ford link and have them send you info you get a 750 dollar discount so it is free.

Got that info from someone on here went to the site requested info on the f150 and a week later got a private cash back of 750 but not eligible for z,d,a plan.

Or... $11,000+ if you were shopping for a regular cab.

Excuse me.. it's only $5k+ if you want an XLT regular cab. I was on the wrong build page. :o

Excuse me again.. only $2k+ if you want an 8' bed and a regular cab.

I loved the EB 4x4 I drove, without a doubt! I also loved the Raptor I drove, but I am up in the air on the Screw raptor.

I love the looks of both, but the raptor edges out the FX4 in the looks department for me.

FX4 EB is much more practical all around, raptor is more of a want. The mpg's on the 6.2L aren't anything I am not already used to with my current setup I have several months to debate this though, I am in no way ready to order yet since I flip-flop so much on many aspects of the next truck.

I look forward to hearing input from you and others on the EB!

http://www.ford.com/brochures/

Go to the site above tell them to mail you info about the F150 and in a week you will get a brochure. Doesn't work on a,d or z plan. I got the info from a member here so I can't take credit. Only good for the person requesting the information though. Good luck!

OK, I did that a couple days ago, so it should be on the way. I hate leaving money on the table.

Mine expires march 3rd, and I got it about Jan 15. My truck is to be built the week of the 14th so I doubt it will be here by then. So I guess I will be requesting another brochure in a few weeks- only problem, all brochures don't have the coupon.
