Yes, Ford did make me a nice looking truck. I've ordered a LineX bed cover and hope to have that on within a couple weeks. I think it'll look even better then.

It'll be nice when I get a chance to drive this thing. I picked it up last Saturday and parked it Sunday. Haven't driven it since. I really want to write a review of the 3.7 V6 but I don't have enough drive time yet. I'll get a few more miles on this coming weekend.

Yeah, me too. Don't think there's many, if any, other 3.7l V6 members here.

Are you getting a tonneau cover for it? Seeing that you like to hike, for all your gear.

Yup. I'm getting a LineX cover. It's made and sold by DiamondBack. Same cover but without the diamond plating. I just put in the order this week and they are saying 10 buisness days. I'm impatiently waiting. I've got to pick it up in western NH, just over the border, so I'll get a better impression of what the 3.7 is like on the highway.

You guys have any MPG figures yet? I'm really interested in knowing how this thing does cruising at 70.

First 200 miles, 2011 Super Cab, 4x2, 3.73 rear end. Nice driving truck. I am disappointed with the mileage based on this very limited test so far. The 5.0 drivers are reporting much better results ... may be the rear end gearing.

Cruising at 70 (over 100 miles): 20.6
In town: 17.6
Best: 21.6
Life of the vehicle according to the computer: 15.6 (probably reflects a lot of idling while playing with Sync and on board computer)

I'm sure everyone is aware that the mpg average computer is a guesstimate on your driving habits and is not a precise number. The correct method is good old math.

Total miles/tank driven divided by amount of gallons purchased.

My 5.0 average:

Tank one: 17.3 mpg avg, actual 16.7 mpg
Tank two: 18.4 mpg avg, actual 17.8 mpg
