This truck has the 5.4 liter and I get 17-18 MPG in city. Who needs the new 5.0, Ha!

Very nice, aggressive front end, I like it!! I was getting 20.2 the other day on a long stretch of road in my 5.4 On the highway at 70-75 I can get between 16-17.5 so I am pretty happy.

 

The 5.0 is getting maybe 2 more mpg. Needless to say I am not at all impressed. Besides, the 2010 5.4 has the bugs worked out from when they first came out. Who knows what the future holds for the 2011 new engines.

 

Besides all that, what year banshee do you have? I have an 03 Limited. It is almost brand new, I bought it off a guy that never rode it, it sat in a garage for years. He told me, the Banshee has never been in the woods and I believe him. I have been doing some mods. I just got done a full DMC 916 exhaust!! I can say one thing, there will never be a quad ever built again that runs like a shee!!

 

I totally have to agree with you. I refuse to sell my quad and get a four stroke. I am a two stroke rider because that is what I grew up on.

I put chrome LED head lights on it. That is my latest upgrade. This is what it looks like with the LED's





I hate to say it but It has been almost two years since I have riden it. I moved to Texas a year and a half ago and haven't found any people that ride. Also I am in the military so I am always deploying to different places. It's hard to find time to ride.

 

I need to go visit my uncle in San Antonio and stop by Houston so we can ride. To the OP, Congrats on the new ride!!!!

Guys, forget the mpg display on the dash. They are intentionally generous. Mine is always 2-3mpg high. Fill your tank, reset the trip meter, drive until below a quarter-tank, fill 'er up, divide the gallons to fill up into the miles you've driven and there is your mpg. 17-18 in the city in a 4x4 5.4 is highly suspect.

Thanks!! I got the line-x and the front windows tinted but thats about it. I was thinking about maybe getting the step bars line-x black and also maybe getting the amber-chrome turn signal mod.
