Looking for a set of running boards

Looking for a set of running boards for my 2011 screw fx4. I was wondering if any of you guys had any experience? Pics would definitely be appreciated. I am definitely looking for something that provides "full coverage". What I mean by that is they put gravel down on the roads here and I am looking for something that leaves no gap for the rocks to pop up and damage the paint. I look forward to hearing what you guys have to say!

Huh, no feedback? I figured several people would have chimed in by now.

Look for some new OEM takeoffs on CraigsList, eBay or the classifieds. Someone just purchased a set from a new Raptor for only $150. through CraigsList a few days ago. That was a steal.

You want actual running boards? or step bars/boards? When I think of running boards I think of ugly old conversion van steps. Either way ebay is probably the cheapest, but you should check craigslist and maybe tasca for oem stuff.

These came off of an '09 King Ranch F150. Had them Line-X'd in Houston. I really like them, they are sturdy and don't remind me of an old van or whatever.

PS: they line up perfect, it just looks off in the picture.

On my 2011 F150, I opted for the black plastic running boards -- they fully cover with no "gaps" in-between the body of the truck and the running boards. It was something like $250 MSRP at time of order. You could check with Tasca to see what their price would be; they just bolt on.

Not bling-bling, but rather much more functional IMO.

You Line-X'd King Ranch Boards? What? That's a sin! I'm looking for pricing for the Adobe-colored King Ranch boards to put on a 2011 Lariat, and they are coming up well over $500. The standard black ones I see for $250.

Tan running boards on my truck would look horrid. I paid $100 for the boards used and $130 to have them Line-X'd. So $230 all said and done. Plus they have better grip than the stock boards.

Anyone ever find out what the 2011 BP boards cost at tasca? I asked but I don't have a VIN to use.

Power Kid,
Too much. They are like $400 per side plus hardware and shipping.

I have my OEM King Ranch boards that I took off years ago. Came off of my 2005 4x4, because I wanted the cleaner and higher look. Just been sitting in my shed, but I have no intentions on ever putting them back on. They are in great shape. I have them on SC Craigslist for $400
