Who's running bigger than 35's?

Anyone with an 09+ running bigger than 35's without the use of the rize 12" kit?

My 295/70/18 Nittos look tiny with the Rough Country 6" lift, but a 35x12.5 is only .5" taller and 1.5" wider. I'm having a difficult time trying to find a bigger tire but not so big that I need a body lift or have to shell out the cash for aftermarket coil overs. I know Toyo and Nitto run true to their size(if not bigger), BFG runs small but I'm not sure about other brands.

I'd like to find a tire that is right at or a little smaller than a 36" mounted on the truck, assuming it fits. I plan on sticking with an M/T or a very aggressive AT.

After I install my stereo next week all my mod money will be saved for 4:56 gears, programmer and new tires for spring time.

Alot of the trucks at the ford dealer would run 36" tires on the 6" lift and 37"s with a front spacer so you could try that. You could always run a leveling kit and get 37"s just an idea.

If I go 37's I already plan on going with 5100's for the extra lift. My issue is I am having a hard time finding a 36" tire so I don't have to increase the lift.

they actually measure almost 38" when they're mounted

you can fit 37's on a 6 inch lift if you're willing to do some cutting. hell you could fit 37's on a 4" lift if you were feeling ballsy

Toyo makes their MT in a 315/70/18 which according to their site is a 35.7x13x18.

I'm starting to think I need a wider tire, more so than I need a much taller tire.

you should be able to clear a 37 inch tire NO problem on a 6" lift, i have seen a 2" front 2" rear clear 35's

If you switch to 20s you could run the 325/65/20 BFG KM2s which comes out to a 36x13 tire.

Nah they measure about 36.8- 37 on a 10" wheel was the average at pirate4x4. I was just saying maybe those because 37"s will rub depending on if his truck ever goes off the road and on trails and such.

The truck does see some off road time, mainly trails and some mud. I don't want to stuff a tire on there where I'll be causing damage to the truck or tires when pushing it off road.

I considered BFG and just buying the 37's since they don't even measure 36" mounted on the truck. Problem is they are $420/tire and that's a bit much.

I TOO AM SOMEWHAT IN THE MARKET FOR THE SAME TYPE OF SETUP. 36X15.50R18 BAJA CLAWS OR 35X13.50R20 CLAWS ON A 6" LIFT AND 2" LEVEL KIT. ALL DEPENDS ON WHAT ITS GOING TO RUN AFTER I REALLY BREAK IT DOWN WITH THE BEST PRICES I CAN GET NEAR ME WITH A FRIENDS DISCOUNT.
FOR THE MOST PART, WITHOUT GETTING OVER THE TOP BIG TIRES, 40+, I DONT THINK THE LOOK OF A 6" LIFT WITH 35'S OR 36'S WITH SOMETHING WIDER THAN A 12.50 CAN BE BEAT. SO ID SAY GOR FOR SOMETHING RIGHT AROUND THERE. AS ALWAYS, JUST MHO.

AND BTW, CHEERS FOR ST. PATTYS DAY FOR ALL!

My vote would be Toyo MT (315/70r18). Perfect size IMO.
