In other words Lariat interior=Fail. I would agree completely. The KR interior is a failure, imo, too. Check out the 2011 Superduty KR interior; the black interior goes much better with the red KR leather than the tan they chose to use on the F150 KR and lariat.

I've just never understood any wood grain in vehicles. It all looks like fake wood and seems like its meant to be fake, I mean is it supposed to look like real wood. Who would want that besides maybe my grandpa and even then I think he would choose differently. Its like some of those PT cruisesr I see running around with that crap on the outside trying to make it look like some old woody. I had a little bit on the door panels on my last F250 and couldn't stand it from day 1. To each his own I guess.

I don't care for if much either, really I don't care for it at all. Since it is how it comes from the factory I guess you just live with it like most or do what I would do and rip it all off and head straight for the paint booth This is why I prefer the FX4 and raptor, no wood grain! The platinum is not much better is it, doesn't the trim have some sort of 'marble' look to it? or ebony wood grain? No thanks...

I don't care for the tan and gray interior but I do like the light wood. All the other wood grain finishes are that boring medium brown. I think this looks better since it's different. It reminds me of hickory, and not so so much of the "furniture burled walnut" appearance. When you see the variety available in the aftermarket kits you realize there are a lot of different tastes.
