I didn't think the title and body of the post would go over most of your heads...I was being a little sarcastic...I went in for one thing that I pretty much was settled on and ended up with a better truck than I was expecting to get with the price I paid.

To put it to rest...so far...I LOVE THIS TRUCK!

The original numbers were so good for the Super Cab FX2 I decided to see what they would do for a Super Crew and a Lariat at that. I basically got the Lariat for what I was expecting to get the FX2 Super Cab for.

Kinda what happened to me except I was expecting to only be able to afford a XLT screw until I saw the price and interior of the FX2 . I was hooked and got a much better price than expected.

How about if trucks were still regular cab, no stereo, manual transmissions, manual windows (almost like mine), would you not buy it?

I can guess the choice.

Be happy with your purchase, because it's a lot more than your parents ever had.

disappointed was an eye catching devise or he was mad he couldnt get the red fx2 im disappointed with mine about my FX2 thought acording to your story. hahah i love this truck

How in the world could he be disappointed in a Lariat? If the wood grain was an issue, the King ranch or Platinum may make him happy.
I am happy with my 2010 STX! It has every option that I wanted and no wood grain!

Nevermind...sorry I tried a little sarcastic humor and obviously it backfired.

Again, I LOVE THIS TRUCK (though the blond wood paneling might take getting used to), I'll just stick to a regular type post from now on.
