305/65/18 BFGs on 2wd with stock wheels?

hey guys, ive looked around, but my situation is somewhat unique. I plan to "level" my 2010 2wd with 4X4 Bilstein 5100 adjustable shocks. The longer 44 shock will give me an addition 1" of lift in the front, making it higher than other leveled 2wds. I am also putting a 1 5/8" block in the rear. What I was wondering is i could fit 305/65/18 BFGs on my truck on stock wheels without any majot issues? i dont mind a BIT of trimming, but I would like it not to rub. any help is appreciated! thanks!

Those BFG's are 34" tall and do work on a leveled 2010 FX4. I don't know how the 2wd come out after the level.

Those are actually just a little over 33.5" so they might be fine.

I think all the 5100 Bilsteins have a 2" max setting. The 305x65's may be a tight fit on a 4x2 even leveled. Check with Wandell on this one!

I think they may fit using the OEM wheels but I doubt they would work with a wider aftermarket wheel.

I had 35x12.5x18 on 18x9.5 wheels with 5" Backspace and 0mm offset. They will it. Trust me. With atleast a 2" level both 2wd and 4x4 can cram anything up to 35" tall and 13" wide. Stock wheels are perfect for cramming too.

Thanks for all the input guys. I looked all around and many people have said the highest setting is 2.25. I'm getting the extra 1" of lift due to the shock being a 4X4 shock, which is longer. I got this idea from TJALOHA. take a look at his truck, it's badass!

I wouldn't go over 2.5 inches of lift. Pretty much everyone has discovered the hard way that the ball joints will not last long at all with 3 inches of lift. 3.25 inches? That's way, way too much.

It's a whole new shock, so I wouldn't think itd be an issue? Look in TJALOHAs photo album, and look at his balljoint, then can you tell me if it's too much angle? I'm not sure

Yeah. Like wandell said anything over 2.5 is too much. Regardless of new strut or not, your still not going to be adding length to the upper control arm. There's a company that makes longer UCA's which would then alleviate the problem. And since your 2wd, you pretty much don't need to worry about anything else.
