Thank's guy's, need to get the window's tinted but people down here don't like to open on a Saturday. Exhaust in the plan's too along with taking the front license bracket off and finding something to fill in the gap behind it.

I guess I'm one of the few that don't like that color combination on the interior. I think there's too much light tones. I have the exact same truck but with the black leather, interior and I like how they off set each other. But beautiful truck!

Real nice PawPaw, although sort of sad to see your 'ol 04 finally go as I always used it as inspiration to show that gold/tan trucks can look cool...lol. But I really like your new color combo, and I like the interior a lot actually, so best of luck on the new truck!

Thank's Desert Dawg, and my inspiration is to get a great looking truck like you get every year too! That way I'll be the coolest old geezer in the old folk's home in a year or two when I retire.

Nice truck! I want to do the same when I get my 11 model which is still on order. How does the truck pull the 305s?

Truck seem's to pull them better then the stock Pirelli's, rides better too. Not as rough as I thought for an E rated tire.

PawPaw - so to be sure, you didnt have to trim anything? With the stock rims it looks like the tires dont stick out. Im looking for the same size tire but with Ballistic Jester wheels for my 11' FX4. BTW, did you recalibrate your odometer?

I like the way it looks stock - not sure if its worth leveling

looks good!

The only thing you have to trim is the control arm which you can't! Had one slight rub making a hard turn uphill pulling into work this morning. Off maybe 1 to 2 mph and I'll take it to the dealer to re-calibrate. Aftermarket wheels with a 5.5 to 5.7 backspace should get these tires to clear the control arm. They would have to be 8.5 to 9 inches wide also. The stock 20's pull the tire and wheel way inside the wheelwells.

I'm jealous. I'm thinking about a 5.0 also. Why did you chose the 5.0 over the new small engine? Just curious as the dealer salesman keeps on trying to talk me into the new small engine, but I have to pull trailers, carry weight, etc., and I want my truck to get over 200,000 miles like my other Ford trucks. Help me feel better about my decision to order the new 5.0.
