LOVE IT!! My last 4 trucks have been black & this color is the best. It does changes colors in the sun. When we took delivery it was sunny and made the truck look like a dark grey metallic. My wife thought it was the wrong truck. The metallic gives the paint a deeper look & I think will hide swirls better. I never got the "black shows everything" analogy. Dark colors shows dust more, and light colors show dirt more. To me it's a horse a piece.

I have it and really like it especially on sunny days. In the shade it just looks like every other gloss black. I do kinda agree with the pollen look but I'm still pleased. I've also had compliments on the color. This is my first black vehicle and I'm a bit disappointed with how hard it is to keep clean but I kinda had an idea it would be. If I had it to do over, the only other colors I think I would like as much would be the sterling grey or white but the white is on the complete opposite end of the spectrum.

If you want a classy looking truck go with the Tuxedo. Most people do not expect that type of finish on a truck so their first impression is a custom paint job.
Winter snow and salt makes every colour look like crap but in the spring, summer and fall its hard to beat the look of a clean Tuxedo F150.

The flakes definitely help hide the swirls and marring that the paint gets, but you still get the deep shine that you can only get on a black vehicle. It does show dirt more than lighter colors, but the payoff is worth it when it's clean, imo.

Have it on my Raptor. It shows less dirt than pure black and doesn't require that you do an absolutely perfect job of cleaning it for it to look good. So far I'm a fan. It's certainly not white/silver though.
On an FX4 or Platinum, I'd go silver, as those colors work very well with those trims.
