1. I think that's a great price (but still expensive for a 1/2 ton )

2. getting the dealer to remove the addons is a bonus; many are reluctant to do this or say they "can't"

3. you will appreciate the tow mirrors, 3.73 rearend, and tailgate step if you tow or haul anything

4. I was told the 750 private and 500 eco coupon can't be combined, so at the most you would get the 750

5. there is another $1000 rebate if you finance with Ford. You can always pay it off afterwords

Good luck!

Buy it, if a 410 was offered I would have ordered it. You will like the 373's for towing as well as those big mirrors, trucks are for towing! The only thing I would try and do is switch out the bed liner for a spayin!

Nice truck

They actually kind of offered to spray the bed, but they spray Rhino and I'm a bigger fan of LineX.

We didn't get that far into the discussion once I heard it was Rhino.

If you are comfortable paying 45 grand for a truck, go for it...

Closed the deal tonight and I feel very good about it. They ended up being able to get me the coupon and also "found" another $1,000 rebate they had missed before for financing with Ford. So at the end of the day I ended up with rebates of $4,250. After haggling off the dealer add ons, x-plan, and rebates I ended up at $43,872 before trade for a fully loaded Platinum EB.

Hopefully the sun will shine tomorrow so I can put up some nice pics. Good luck to everyone else on their deals!

As I was signing the paperwork there was a sheet that listed all the program numbers but doesn't look like I got a copy of that. I know the extra $1,000 I got tonight was for financing with Ford and $750 was the coupon. Other than that I couldn't tell ya.

On the truck he's looking at there are only $500 in rebates unless you finance through Ford in which case you've got an additional $1000.

You don't have to have the coupons in order for them to be used. Any of us can look them up easily and if you have them awarded by Ford, they show up in the system. In fact, it really doesn't matter what you got in the mail. Only what comes up from Ford when we input your name and zip counts.

If anyone needs help getting theirs, let me know. I make dealers in other states (and my own) cry. Long live the customer!

It looks like you got $9,000 or 17% off and EcoBoost just came out this month. As expected, there are rebates to be had just like there were on the 2009, 2010, and all of the years before. People were saying 15-20% off was good for 2010. This just goes to show how much people were overreacting when they said there will be no discounts on 2011 models so go for the savings on the weaker, poorer performing 2010.

Actually with over $1,000 worth of dealer add-ons I got just over $10,000 off sticker. Point well taken though. There are discounts to be had for sure.
