Platinum Max Tow Mirrors to Power Fold - Success Stories?

This to all the Platinum owners out there (or 2011's with Powerfold option on other models)

Has anyone successfully removed the Max Tow Mirrors and installed the Power Fold Mirrors and made the power folding work? I've read a lot about people doing this swap and having no issues with defrost, memory, etc but none that hands down got power folding to work. I did read a post that it requires dealer programming but that guy said he went to two dealers that had no idea.

it is ridiculous that they don't have an option for power folding tow mirrors. i love my tow mirrors, but HATE that they don't power fold considering their size.

Everything I have read has indicated this is an absolute nightmare to get done. I would like to have them myself, but right now I am of the opinion that the headache isnt worth it. That, however, could change after a few months/years of ownership.
