Side steps options

I'm looking to replace my chrome running boards on my black FX4. Looking for different options for black side steps or running boards...pics would be great! Not looking to spend a fortunate but want something discreet that looks good too. Thanks for the help!

NFAB nerf steps? Have you looked at those? I think they'd look nice on the truck.

For the look of your truck try looking into the power steps they are alittle pricey but they would look great. Iam saving my pennies for them myself.

GoRhino makes some nice tubes with steps welded on. I had them on my Dodge Mega Cab and was very pleased. Dominator III's http://www.gorhino.com/products.aspx?id=142

Your truck looks great. Two questions for you: what % tint do you have on the front windows and, if you do decide to get some new steps, what are you gonna do with the chrome ones? I might be interested in them.

.
As an alternative to "new" you may want to look into powder-coating the existing.

Local shop did mine in satin black for $50. Included stripping and doing the brackets as well.

I've seen them stripped and coated with Line-X and although I'm not a big fan, they'd look good on your rig and compliment the fender lips. Also, they are extremely durable.

I have the same truck, and switched to these black step bars, 189 shipped on ebay from running board warehouse. Don't buy from their website, they are 40 bucks cheaper on their ebay page, but you can check their website out to see what other black ones they offer. I really like these that I purchased, as they were close in style to the factory bars that I had. They also have black versions of the oval steps like you have. Anyway, here are some pics, sorry for the wax, but wanted to get you these pics right away since I struggled to find something like these when I was looking:

Sonoma, those look sharp. Did you install yourself? If so, how much time did it take?

I believe it is a 15% tint...I just told the guy to match it to the back windows. And I will probably be looking to sell the chrome step bars
