It has nothing to do with car color, but the drivers. Flashy drivers that prefer red vehicles are more likely to speed. Basically people that like to drive fast are more likely to go with a red vehicle.
But there is more evidence that the kind of car you drive has way more effect on tickets than the color.

1) Red vehicles
2) Out of state plates/rental cars
This is all things being equal, as of course they would bypass both of these for sports cars or anything that has been tricked out extensively like some of the trucks in this forum. Enjoy that coffee FX

Huh... my wife comes from a family of cops, and they'd disagree with you. When picking one vehicle out of 4 lanes of speeders, they single out two characteristics more than any other:

Remember that white is a tough colour to take care of. You need to put a clay bar to it regularly to get rid of all the road debris that gets into the finish. My white Platinum has a ton of tiny flakes that are rusting especially on the tailgate. Luckily a little elbow grease takes care of it. I know this happens to all colours but white is the only one it so visible on.
But it does look hot when it's all cleaned up.
