Question, I've had a hard time finding pics.

On a 2011 FX4 (w/lux Pkg) are the TT mirrors judt the normal rough plastic (like a XLT) orrrrr are they the painted cap units...

Thanks in advance.

Mine are painted on the top half and the black on the bottom half. They are some big honkin' mirrors too!

Thanks. I was aware of that for the 09-10, but hadn't yet seen it on a 11.

Until Job 2 you couldn't get TT mirrors with FX4 Lux. Description is not specific.

Great FIND!!! Thats dang near exactly what I want.

I'll have to register as I can't tell from those grainy pics if they are painted TT mirrors or not.

It appears they are just black textured. I bet the PTM caps from the late 04-08 early 09-10 TT mirror would work, I don't see any differences unless they went to a one-piece design.

It is kind of sad, on one hand I am constantly searching up on EB stuff for FX4's and platinum's to see what people are doing, reviews, mpg's etc. I want to see how the EB will handle a little larger tire like a 33 or so. On the other hand I am constantly on the raptor forums looking at all they are doing. I want trucks on two opposite ends of the spectrum

Come to think of it, they dont' offer painted TT mirrors on any trim level of F150 for 2011.
Lariat and PLatinum you have to take chrome caps right...

XLT is rough plastic.
