So I am in Calgary, AB and am wondering how could a deal people are getting? The truck I am looking at is a Fx4 luxury package supercrew with a 5.0 or Ecoboost, not sure yet.

After all said and done 41,000 canadian.

That being said I wonder if we as consumers can do anything with the dollar being stronger in Canada then the us and the trucks are a lot cheaper down there.

Well, I am not in Canada, but I do not get the significant MSRP difference. Same truck (5.0) in Texas MSRP is 43,300. Now if I were buying could easily get another 8000 off.

However, for Canada prices you seem to have a good deal. Maybe some of your friends north of the border will chime in.

 

Yes I hope they will for sure. But look at your MSRP, Its almost 10k in the difference, and our dollar right now is more then the US, It just doesn't make sense.

I don't know much about the currency conversion, but the '11 EB Platinum I just bought I ended up just over $10K off MSRP. That was with Xplan and incentives.

US : F150 Lariat Limited = 51 315$
Canada : F150 Lariat Limited = 59 749$

US : F150 FX4 supercrew, 6.5' = 40 260$
Canada : F150 FX4 supercrew, 6.5' = 40 349$


That's without option. Do they come with the same equipement, i don't know. We can see that top of the line Lariat Limited is worth buying in the US, but for the FX4... Not at all.

 

I got my 2011 FX4 5.0L without lux pack but it has half the stuff the lux pack has ex leather memory system and dual climate.going custom leather down the road and didn't want the extra crap. But That being said i got mine for just under $37,000 my MSRP was just under $51,000

 

I got my EB FX4 for $300 below invoice and add about $2,500 in incentives after that.

 

So captain awesome thats a great deal you got. What are your payments if you don't mind me asking and did you put 0 down?

My truck price is $42,864.76 US ($41,986.03 CAD) and all accessories I get are at dealer cost.

Plus It looks like I am getting anywhere between $4250 or $5250 off in incentives from the $42,864.76 price.
I know for sure on Monday when they call me with a final $ for Incentives and all my accessores.

 

Sticker was $52225 and I paid $43194. 2011 EB Platinum Screw. The dealer was happy and I was happy so all is well.

 

So give or take canadian or us since dollar is the same, we should be able to get like 10-12 k off 20-25% percent off?
