Mine rolled over 50,000 last night on my trip home. I checked the mileage for the 125 miles, some interstate, a half dozen small towns. Cruise set on 70 and 75 much of the trip. got 20.2

Here's the latest chart that I've run on my 11. Yup, charts/graphs the favorite informational BS us engineers offer the world..... And to think, I used to get paid to create BS like this.

Now we need the variation between the hand calculated and the computer as a percentage.

Cool graph

LOL.... Would that be Lie-O-Meter vs Hand Calculated or the inverse or against the EPA rating or ???? If I get really bored, I might look at this stuff, but probably not....

Lie-O-Meter vs Hand Calculated.

My new truck seems much closer than the 2010 F250 I traded in.
New truck seems to be within 2% it appears, but I do not have the miles you do.

If I fill up the tank on the slowest nozzel setting and do not top off, the truck comuter is right on my hand calculated. It's when I top off that fouls up the numbers a little.

2011 Xcab XLT 4wd 3.73

New empty I got 18.3 mostly highway
Topper and 500# in cargo I got 17.3 mostly highway.
With new E load MS2 Michelin tires that weigh 10lbs more than stock SRA's I get 16.8mpg. So heavy tires will cost you.

COmpared to my 2010 5.4 which gets 14-16 with the same tires.

'13 5.0L SCREW w/3.31's at 1200 miles. Best Hwy 22.4 over 250 miles on relatively flat road, and good weather. In town, don't know yet as I just reset the computer thingy to check it out. Really doesn't matter though, I do love this truck.

Disclaimer: Computer thingy calculated, 'cause I'm to lazy to do it by hand anymore. Wait...What.....

I just towed an 18' enclosed snowmobile trailer to Idaho and back last weekend. Loaded weight with my '12 Screw 6.5' 4x4 3.73 is about 12,500#. At 65 mph 9.65 mpg, at 70 mph return trip 9.05 mpg (good headwind coming down the Columbia river gorge). There are some pretty good hills ~6-7% for a couple miles and it would hold 70 mph up them easily. Not great towing mileage but fun to drive.

my last trip to work I achieved my best mpg. From Lake Jackson up 288 to Beltway 8 east to i-10 (75 in texas) all the way to Lafayette and I forgot the roads down to port Fourchon, LA. in my experience the dash meter is only a couple tenths and that, I feel, is due to filling it up all the way (I do not top it off).

Truck has about 600 miles now. 145" FX4 Screw 3.55.

First fill up was 15.25 mpg
Second fill up was 17.32 mpg

I am convinced I can get about same mileage out of this one as I did with my EB.

No doubt. My 5.0 is getting damn close to what my '11 3.7 SCREW got, and it's not even broke in yet.
