He's not very knowledgeable on the truck, I have a feeling that without that window sticker he wouldn't know how to start his speech about the truck. It was entertaining to but he made a few rookie mistakes lol

Reminds me of "Gil" from the Simpsons.

"Let me tell you about undercoating. You are gonna need that. These trucks will rust right up on you...Awww geez I shouldn't have said."

That was too painful to watch. If my salesman made that many mistakes in the first couple minutes I would have walked away or at least asked him to stop talking. It's a perfect example of why you should not believe what a salesman tells you. I wish Ford offered a lower cost "self serve" purchase option. I do the research on the vehicle, I sell it to myself, so lets leave a salesman out of it and give me the commission.
Several years ago I bought a new truck, and then refered several other people to the salesman and they each bought vehicles too. The salesman later gave me a check for $500 as a thank you.

uuggghhh, this is all too common. I usually end up telling the slaespeople about the vehicle. When I bought my 08 Superduty the salesman argued with me about the 6.4L diesel and having a DPF, regens, etc.. Is it too hard to learn 10-12 different models?? Hell, I probally know more about GM's, toyota, etc. than their salespeople.

Right before the ecoboost came out I had a salesman telling me about how great the 5.4 is and that Ford was going to keep it for a few more years... I informed him about it and he hadnt ever heard of it haha

LOL. That was very educational. Can you start it by that? "No....well I don't know the answer to that. I'll look that up for you." What are these bolts here for? LOL.

I think this was filmed on purpose to show the salesman what he is like when dealing with a customer. Notice the person he's pitching has what looks like a Ford pullover jacket on. It's probably just a training lesson on a new salesman.

BTW, he's terrible!!! Thank goodness Ford trucks can sell themselves.

I think I'll invent the Ford Dealer ATM. You walk in pick your options off the screen and drive off with a new truck. No annoying salesperson to deal with.

Exactly, that's what I was talking about with self serve. Like some fast food places where you punch in your order on a computer, add all the toppings, sides, etc, and swipe your card. Move on down and pick up your meal, er uh TRUCK!

They had a radio commercial here that was done by the dealer owner. He said that people have been asking for a small turbo diesel in the F150 and Ford finally did it with the new Ecoboost V--6. Funny I only heard it once... (cough) Kanata Ford (cough)
