09' Platinum 8+2+3

Well here it is, a 2009 Platinum with just at 14" of lift. Front end is the Rize 8" suspension (measures more around 9"), cranked King coilovers for 2 1/2" and out back the 6" One Up Offroad traction block system with 4" Skyjacker softride springs and now on top of all that, a 3" body lift

Just got this photo from my buddy doing the work and figured I would post it up. Will have more later, as I get off work at 12pm and plan to go straight to the shop.

I am 6 foot 2 myself and I will be able to answer the ladder thing for both of us here in a few. Also, I think it is going to look pretty good just the way it is with the 37's once the bumpers are back on it. I can't tell all to much from the picture, but I am excited to go and see it!

The truck stands at 7' 8" tall and the garage door is 8" tall but yeah you woulnt think it would roll out.

Here are two more pics from when I went to look at it. Still waiting on the bumpers and gap gaurds to be installed.

Very nice. What do you use to make up or fix the crappy tranny shifting with the 37s?

ColonelBlue,
I honestly have not had any issues with the tranny or the shifts ? I have regeared the truck with 4.88s and when I got the Edge CTS it did wonders for it.

Impressive ride. Do you have Harley lights on that black Platinum? If so, I'd love to see more pictures, especially with the tailgate/grille. I've got a black Platinum, but wasn't sure if it would look right.

EDIT: Nevermind. Saw your previous threads. Saw you Line-Xed the grille/tailgate too.

FX4Life,
It had to be done!

J Diddy,
Thanks!

rok,
Yao would prob have no problem getting in it and honestly the 3" really didn't seem to make any differance with getting in and out but then again I have the retracting steps which help.

Picking it up Monday, had them go on and pull the spare tire and the mounting hardware under the bed seeing as both are now pointless. Also had them take off the 4x4 stickers which I am interested in seeing.
