Powder Coat?

I'm trying to do a blackout theme on my 09 that's gray. I have the stock 20" rims and Pirellis still with about 25000 miles on them and there are a couple nicks in the rims. Should I powder coat the stockers black or get all new black rims? Anyone have any pics of a powder coating job? Does it look legit or what?

And I was possibly thinking that if I get new rims to get smaller ones so that I would have a better wheel to tire ratio that would look more proportional. And in the long run I may even save money when getting new tires each time.

Just wanted some thoughts here. Thanks!
