Aftermarket leather installed

I recently had after market leather installed in my 2010 Super Crew XLT and thought I'd share photos. I'd seen a few other folks posting photos with 'dark brown' instead of the factory 'puddy' color and I quite liked it, so I decided to go with that. I added contrasting stitching simply because they had that kit in stock. It's a Katzkin kit in dark brown with puddy stitching. Cost installed was $1150.

I'm not super pleased with the quality of the install - I had to spend an hour or so today fixing some issues - but they did turn it around in 1 day at my request so maybe that's part of the problem. And they wiped baby oil on it - which ruins the smell and makes it gross imo. Nothing like having to clean brand new seats. The quality of the kit itself is fine. Doing it again, I would have just installed it myself.

Anyway - here are some photos. I don't have any of the back seat as I've already added my kid's seats back in so there's not much to show.

matches the dark brown plastic well.

$1150 installed.

You can pick up the leather kit for around $750-$800 online. I called a few places for installs, and price ranged from a low of $250 to over $500 - so the 'complete' price was reasonable.
