Pics of my replacement truck!!!

Well, after only having my 09 Flame Blue FX4 with step side bed for six months and then having it totaled in an accident, I picked this one up last Monday as a replacement. So far, I'm really enjoying the additional features of the Platinum, and the color is definitely my next favorite behind the FB. The truck is an 09 and has 36K miles on it. The previous owner put an aftermarket exhaust with dual pipes and it sounds awesome. My wife really likes the electric folding steps.

Nice truck...i love the dual exhaust. Sometimes when you see the duals, one will be lower than the other and it bugs me. But those are perfect...

I have that same color on my 2010. It's nice, but I have the chrome bumpers and I'm looking into getting them ptm.

Sweet new truck man! I really like the Royal Red. That would be the color I would choose after my Sterling Gray. I don't see too many of those. Good luck with the new ride! Watch out for the crazy drivers out there!

brazzeal, everytime I read one of your posts, I see the pic from FMJ and I read it as if that guy is yelling everything you write...I guess it one of those things where it's only funny in my own head!
BTW, I have a plat too. What are some other options for the side moldings? I think there are holes underneath them so they need to be R2 with something else...

Nice looking truck! Now you need to add a bull bar to fend off those kamikaze car drivers!

hahaha... glad somebody finds it humorous. I thought it was pretty good. I didnt know there were holes under those moldings though.. I thought people had taken them off before without anything under.

I recall someone on here having that identical truck. I wonder if it is his? Tow mirrors aren't as popular, and I know he had them too with the lid. The Royal Red on a platinum was pretty rare, too.

Yeah. My wife and I drove down there last Sunday, picked up the truck Monday morning, and drove back to GA Monday afternoon. It was worth the drive considering there was nothing as nice in the Atlanta area for near the price I paid.
