Yup it's standard.
I would recommend that you take the seat out once in a while so it doesn't leave a permanent divot where the top strap goes over the seat. I have had the booster car seat out of my car for about 5 years now and the indentation of where it was is still there, the foam and leather never recovered but it's a small price to pay for the safety of your kids.
