Navigator Trans shifting in my truck??

Ok, this may be silly. My wife has a Lincoln Navigator that has super smooth shifting that I rather enjoy. Are our trucks and the Navigators using the same transmissions to where I can have my shifting re-programmed or is it a completely different tranmission? Anybody know? Forgive me senior members if this has already been answered before. I tried searching and couldn't find anything.

Daniel09 I'm sure yours shifts smoothly. I'm not complaining about mine. It's good......... BUT, the Navigator is "SILKY SMOOTH"!

The problem with silky smooth shifting is it is actually not the best for the trans. The trans is actually "slipping" to make it slide in easy. Any tuners will tell you the firm shifts are those best for the tranny when putting the coal to it because it's in a gear and not sliding in between to the next when shifting. You could tune your truck and manually drop the shift pressure down.
