I'm looking at putting an exhaust tip on my new ecoboost. Does anyone know the inlet size? is it 2.5 inches?

Can a larger tip with bigger inlet size be put on a smaller pipe? say a 4.5 on a 2.5? thanks guys Most likely putting a single 4inch tip on.

 

god forbid you go outside with a tape measure and measure it.

the tip clamps onto the outside of the pipe. as long as it clamps/welded onto that it doesn't matter how large the tip is.
