Greetings all,

I was/am a member here since 1999. I sort of moved over to a different forum when I bought my last truck. A 2000 F250 SD XLT 4x4 V-10. She gave me great service for all of her time. I just traded her in with 346,549.2 miles. In all that time I only had normal wear and tear items that needed to be serviced. A clutch and AC at 200k. Ball joints at 220k and 325k. A few hub bearing assy's. And all the normal brakes/tires/windshields 10 yrs of driving will use up. I was sad to see her go. But it needed another clutch, the body was starting go in several areas (rear fenders/door bottoms/roof), and worst of all recently it developed a water leak that would hit the GEM module about 2 days after rain and would cause all kinds of weird electrical problems. With the age, miles, and needed service it was time.

I bought a 2011 F-150 SCab 5.0 3.55LS XLT with XLT convenience, chrome, and plus packages. She is Red Candy Metallic.

I am a Ford stockholder so I was able to get an X-plan pin#. And in addition I found a link somewhere that said if you request a color brochure from Ford by mail it comes with an additional $750 coupon. I was skeptical but the dealer added it to the incentives and saved me even more.
Ended up at about $32k out the door after Mass Sales Taxes and the extras they add on.

I hope to be a frequent contributor.

Thanks for looking,
