Loving my new Platinum

Picked up my new Platinum last Monday and finally had to wash it today even though it only reached 36 degrees today. So far, I am just loving this baby. Former GMC Sierra owner (1999), but had to get off the Gov't Motors train.

Nice truck... I live in your area. It's going to be tough keeping that color clean all winter.

A Black Platinum, now that's a classy ride. Notice any differance from your Sierra?

I hear ya OldSkool, a black truck in Chicago will be a challenge in the winter. To the other question, my 99' Sierra served me well. I put 107K on it with little cost going to repairs. But, this truck is more plush and has 2 features the GMC did not offer. Most important was the tailgate step. I turn 60 in May and have bad knees to go with being slightly gravitationally challenged. The GMC does not come with a sliding rear window that also has the defrost feature too. And… I can't get over the whole Gov't Motors thing.

Great looking truck! I wasn't sure about all the chrome and the tailgate decor on my Platinum when I first bought it. But I must say, it has grown on me and I now love it.
