moldings

im wondering if anyone else is having the same issues as i am.

around all side windows were the moldings are, there is almost like a glue or oil that is leaking down the side of the door everytime the truck gets wet and is a total pain in the *** trying to clean it off.

i went to the dealership yesterday about it, and they will not warranty it as they said " its because of where i park and the enviroment i live" im not joking that is what he said. he also tried to say that it was the oxidization from the exhaust because i work in an industral area.....lol

anyone having these issues??

That response from he dealer doesn't pass the sniff test, I would suggest taking it to a different dealership and get a second opinion.

Nothing environmental should cause that kind of damage to your truck and if it did you probably should not be breathing it and still walking...

I get streaks of water that drip, but not glue/oil. I also agree that the dealer sounds a little suspicious.

yeah..... it looks like it would be an oil, but so hard to clean off. when the guy told me that about the oxidization in the air. i asked him if he thought i was stupid. but i didnt want to argue too much or he wouldnt help me.

unfortunately there is only 1 ford dealership where i am right now. im also getting some flaking on the rims and my running boards ( chrome ) are starting to show rust spots.

the truck is only 6 months old

i should have known better then to get another ford, ive had issues with my cobra when it came down to warranty as well. to this day im still driving around with 2 different colour seats in it. they wouldnt warranty that too.

uugghh.....i hate when people / places cant stand behind their products
