Try 23.521 US MPG ....
I get the same on the highway and at times it drops to 8 liters which is 29.401 US MPG.
I'm running a 2010 SCREW FX-4 w/Ford BakFlip and am using Gasoline which may contain up to 10% ethanol. I found a station close to home that uses 91 Octane in reg tanks when the supply is low; NO ETHANOL!!!!!. Then I get 7 l/100km which is 33.60 US MPG. On average going ON THE HIGHWAY up north pulling a 14' SmokerCraft w/25 HP motor and crap for a weeks fishing plus dog and two friends, I get 12 per 100 which is 19.601 US MPG. 95% of the drive is highway and I'm usually driving 90 KM/H (56 MPH) which is the limit on half of the route.
NOW ... with combined driving to work in the %$#@#$% rush hour stop and lurch traffic I get 15 liters/100 KM = 15.680 US MPG ... worst I had was 19 L/100 km = 12.379 US MPG. We seem to have LESS Ethanol in our fuels than down south ... I also take it easy on the happy pedal and use Castrol Syntec oil in the crankcase. Used it since the truck was broken in and have 15,000 MILES on the clock. My other car is a Boxster S in which I use the happy pedal a lot. I drive easier in the SCREW ...
Of course YMMV ....

I've had my 2011 5.0 screw for just over 2 months now, and commute 38 miles one way to work, and have been averaging 24.2 MPG mixed since I got it. ( I actually get about 25 MPG, since I just drive to and from work M-F, but it winds up dropping to 24.2 with most of the city driving on the weekend)
I do drive like grampa however and set my cruise control to 55MPH on the HWY.
A little food for thought: 1 week ago, I decided to see what my gas mileage would be if I drove the same way, but set the cruise control to 65MPH. I then only achieved 21.5 MPG mixed.
Truck is totally stock, no bed cover.

it's in US MPG. I live in south Florida so the land is mostly flat, except overpasses.
2011 f150 supercrew 4x2. Mileage taken from the actual mileage it reports from total miles driven, gallons used, and avg MPG. I also double check with my phone's calculator, and actual gallons filled, fill-up at the same gas station, and try to use the same pump if I can.
I noticed the mileage gauge can be be off up to 3/10 of a gallon on gallons used, so I always confirm with the actual gallons I filled up with at the pump, and divide the total mileage driven by that.
filling up at different gas stations can throw your MPG way off positively or negatively, depending on the accuracy of the pumps.
