Sorry but if you are lifting your truck you shouldn't worry about MPG's. even with the 4 inch and 33's you'll be looking at 15 mpg maybe 16. but good luck

Never a shortage of opinion on the word wide webs, is there...

My opinion is that so long as gas is over $3/gal and the country's leading import... you should worry about MPG's. You shouldn't expect much, but worrying about it is not a bad thing!

Rancho lift installed!

Got the truck lifted today and 18x9 XD Addicts (+18mm offset) with Nitto Terra Grapplers (LT325/60R18). I need to snap some better pics soon as I can find my real camera. In my opinion the width with the offset and tires is perfect for stock (or no) flares. Tire could be taller, its only 33" but I wanted to be conservative there at least for now. The Amp Research boards are at a perfect height now. AND... the Rancho kit fit!

Man, that looks great. Now you have me thinking whether I want to go black wheels on my truck (same as yours) or a small contrast like those ones. The lift looks great. How much for the whole package? If you don't mind me asking. Lift, install, wheels, tires. Thanks!

Thanks Dawg, your inspiration and assistance made it all happen. I was expecting bfg's but communication mix up ended up with the Nitto's and I'll probably just keep them was happy with them on previous truck. I'm really happy with the maintained ride and handling!

@russ... Was right around 6k but that included a set of goodyear duratracs being mounted on oem wheels and tps taken care of and have $500 coming back from Rancho

Whoa! Guess it ain't cheap to do things right. Are you saying you bought two sets of tires, a the new wheels, the lift, plus install? So maybe around 5K for the stuff you see on your truck?

Right. Less the $500 rebate. Also included the upgraded adjustable Rancho shocks. You can save another $750 if you want to do the install yourself. It was $3500 for parts alone after the rebate and without alignment.

The truck looks sick OP! I love the Rancho 4 inch lift with some decent tires. In fact I'd have it myself if I didn't have to get my car into downtown parking lots for work when it's -35 in the winter.

How are you liking the overall ride quality and what settings do you have your shocks at?

Shocks are set at soft, the ride is firmer than stock but very compliant. Not sure if due to tires or shocks. The handling is great, same as stock.

What is an expected charge for install alone on this kit? I'm not asking about what the cheapest install someone has gotten but rather what I should expect to pay a good and reputable shop to install the lift kit. I was quoted 3450 plus tax and I see 4 wheel online has the kit with 9000 series shocks for 1499 so that would be like playing 2150 for the install...

Recapping questions:
4" Rancho compatible with 2011 f150?
What is expected cost to install for a reputable shop.
most around Kansas city are 80 to 100 and hour per for the install plus the kit price. thats seems high to me. I think most cost around 750 to 1000 to install.
