Oh yes, I get it alright. I know when you got the paperwork. I thought it stupid to drive off with new truck and not have the paperwork at that time.

Maybe that is why you are having this problem. So, why did you take possession of truck without having the finalized paperwork and knowing the terms you agreed to?

No, I am not the smartest car buyer. But, I would not do whatt you did, or, if I did (we all make mistakes for sure), I would not then post on a forum to get sympathy for something I caused myself. Follow?

Like I said earlier, I hope you work it out ok, but you are to blame ultimately.

LMAO - heaven forbid someone point out the mistake that put the guy in this situation to begin with. Was the dealer intentionally being shady by delaying the signing of the contract? Maybe. Was the customer at fault for not finalizing the deal before taking delivery? Completely.

To the o/p - if it were me, I would return the truck and walk away from the deal. Worst case, they charge you some fee for the mileage you put on the truck. Best case, tell him you're not paying the extra $2k or you're canceling the deal and reporting him to the BBB for underhanded business deals. Maybe he'll back off and give you a decent deal.

EDIT: I just read the original post again and I see that this all took place roughly two months ago, meaning you probably already finalized the deal. If so, what happened? Did you just pay all of his extras or what?

So just a question. The day you came to pick up the truck, didn't you see the contract and financing paperwork and have to sign it?

That being said, are you saying that these charges were not on the paperwork you signed and you never received your copies when you left (usually put in a folder by the finance person)? Then when you came back for the install and asked for the paperwork it appeared and all these charges were now there and you signature was on everything. Meaning they added everything after you left?

That would be fraud, but if you don't have a copy of the originals you signed I think you're out of luck.

That being said, it wouldn't stop me from going in there a few days a week and letting anyone know what a piece of crap that dealership is and what that a$$hole owner does. Secondly I'd start finding any websites that people use to help buy cars and post your experience there. It's amazing how many shady dealerships there are on the island, pisses me off I don't trust any of them and it's not just Ford. I almost got into a fight at Nissan when I bought my wife's Murano.

I'm not looking for sympathy, just input or suggestions not criticism or insults.Douche dealer NEVER gave me the paperwork when I drove off and I forgot to ask then-cheesh.When I came back to dealer 6 days later(realized the next day but was too busy with work)to get aftermarket running boards put on, I had to ASK since it seemed like they didn't want to give it to me.Yes it was a mistake but NOT entirely my fault and just wanted to see what others thought I could/should do or if they had similar experiences-that's all.[LIST]
Never knew what I agreed to until after the fact and then found that I was lied to from this hustler owner who likes to frequent Las Vegas(gambler)./LIST]

Can't return truck(DON'T WANT TO!) as deal is finalized but every time I ask him(3 times with owner) about those $2050 charges,I get a different answer every time only finding that's it's a lie or bull*****.I mean seriously is his "overhead" a dealer service to pay for?Grossly overcharged for SS Black Horse(aftermarket) running boards which I found you can get for $365 online, man what a mark-up!

If there was no paperwork, you did not have to take the deal. You could have just said no deal and walked away.

Just remind him he will never see another penny from you or your truck. His service department will never get maintenance or warranty work. I'm so sick of these owners that try to rape you with the sale and then expect to get money from you on maintenance. I wish I lived in an area where people are a little more trustworthy.

There was paperwork but it wasn't given until almost a week later and I had to ask for it.If I would of knew of this before I signed anything I probably would have walked, but I still glad I have this truck.

Funny you mention that, since the hustler(owner) was tellin me at time of sale that 1st service is free, probably put it in the $2050 dealer charges(again underhanded) so that may be the ONLY time I go there.I hear ya and agree 100%.

The paperwork had to have been given to you in order to sign it. If paperwork wasn't given to you until a week later, then you didn't sign for anything, and there wasn't a transaction.

It was and I did but didn't notice the $2050 charges(or I might have missed it) until almost a week later when I received the paperwork. As soon I signed they were quick to put away the contract and I forgot to ask the next day when I picked up the truck.I don't mind paying the charges but DON'T LIKE the lies and deceit.
