Well unfortunately you signed it without reading, so it is your fault. Definitely shady of the dealer, but you gotta slow down and read what you are signing.

Go watch the southpark episode called "human centipad" its quite relevant.

Yeah unfortunately you signed. That's why it takes me time with the finance person because I bring my calculator and manually check to make sure my monthly payment is correct and they aren't screwing me on my rates. I go line item by line item they hate me and I don't give a crap.

At worst he is undercharging you at $2050 and at best you are really only out only a little under a $1000."

Not sure where you buy your running boards from but at the time of my purchase in February I paid an additional $695 to have the running boards added onto my purchase at the dealership and they didn't cost anywhere near what you were quoting. I'm sure there was some mark-up but I wasn't bothered by the price and that included the installation.

The accessory-type boards are less money. The production-type tubular chrome are $634 per side. MSRP right from Ford. The chrome package boards: $1,258.23 LEFT. $1,258.23 RIGHT. And so on and so on. That's per side. Tasca has all of the prices. I reference this because OP did not at first say which running boards he received.

Per my original response - go see a lawyer about this. There appears to be serveral things about this transaction that seem out of the ordinary and the only way to determine your options and evaluate them is to talk to someone who is an expert in the field and if you wish can act on for you in relation to this matter.

Sorry, but I don't watch lame cartoons or other animated shows. There was nothing much to read except a little charge that read $2050 with no specifics or breakdown and yes I shoulda scrutinized and usually I do but trying to see if I have any recourse. How is this all my fault when your lied to after the fact??

I may consult a lawyer about this and see if there's any recourse as I never seen something like this since I have purchased quite a few new and used vehicles before.

so you bought the truck 3 months ago and are now just going to try and fight something that IMO you are equally at fault for for not reading everything thoroughly before signing. i'd write this off as an expensive lesson learned and move on.
