Trailer lights=Nothing

this could be an easy fix. first thing i would check would be the trailer ground. could just be that it is corroded a little and not making a good connection. if all that checks out. then a voltmeter would be a good thing to check and make sure that you are getting power where the boat plugs up to the truck! could also be the trailer wires have rubbed a hole in one of the wires and shorting itself out to the trailer. just speaking from my own experience sometimes these can be a bear to run down. it's usually the smallest thing. good luck hope u get it figured out

I seriously doubt its your truck, but you can get a volt meter/plug tester/or even try another trailer or put the problem trailer on another truck to check. But for the most part, especially with boat trailers, grounds are usually the culprit, and if your not getting anything...brakes, signals, etc. its probably the ground, but I would check all the connections and make sure the wires haven't snagged anything and been cut. I'm assuming its a used trailer but check the bulbs too.

I had the same problem. Twice while connecting the trailer it was almost dark, the auto lights were on, noticed a spark when I tried to hook up the trailer (4 pin). Very faint spark, did not have the connector perfectly aligned, and it blew the fuse. Fuse is up front under the hood just above the radiator. Forgot the number, it is 20 amp. I would look there.
