Market for 2011 Platinum wheels/mirrors?

Curious if there's a market for 2011 Platinum wheels and the standard mirrors. I've been debating the different models for a while now, and feel somewhat "forced" into the Platinum because of how Ford lays out various options. In the event that I order an '11 (vs wait for a '12 to see if anything changes), curious if there's a market for the Platinum wheels (believe they come with Pirellis), and the standard mirrors (the non-tow version), which are power mirrors, power folding, and heated. The first two mods I plan area lift with new wheels and tow mirrors. Seems like a waste to just let that stuff sit around. I don't have the truck yet, just trying to plan ahead.

Definitely a market man. At least I know there is for the wheels. I sold mine within a week for asking price. Listed them on eBay and Craigslist, had someone drive out and pay cash for them. wheels had 30,000 miles on them.

Why not buy the truck with the Max Tow package so you don't have to swap the mirrors?

He may be looking at getting a 5.0, which doesnt give you that option.

Thanks for the info gentlemen, seems there is interest in the wheels, which is good.

RE: mirrors, my only reason is that you have to upgrade to the 3.73s with the EB ($865 upgrade) to get the tow mirrors. I will likely re-gear to 4.10s, so no need to waste money on a gear upgrade through Ford. If they offered cooled seats in the FX4, I'd order that with the factory 4:10s, but apparently that's too much to ask for ;-).

It might be peanuts at the end of the day, but I can save $500 or so by sticking with stock 3:31 gears and order the mirrors separately (I have a friends/family discount through Ford parts), but have also seen the mirrors for $350 - $400 through other sites.
