Back in an F-150
After too many years, I am finally back in an F-150 and loving it! I just picked it up Saturday.
2011 XLT Regular Cab in Candy Apple Red with the 5.0L V-8. The V-8 is smooth and has lots of power. Much better than my 1997's 4.6L engine. Ford's come a long way!
It has the towing and convenience packages and I am enjoying using SYNC. Works great with my iPhone!
Overall, great truck and I am looking forward to many years of fun to come!

Hey, you mentioned that it worked great with your iphone. I couldn't get my sync to read texts with my old 3g iphone, so I switched up to a windows 7 samsung focus. Do all the features work with iphone now? The microsoft sync, and apple phone didn't pair perfectly on my '10.
Appreciate all the comments! The 5.0 in this truck is going to be fun, but I am taking it easy for the first 1000 miles. I did end up with the 3.31 rear as I wanted to get the right color/options (originally wanted the 3.55), but with 20.7mpg showing on the computer, I am not too disappointed. The 6-speed makes up a good bit of the difference vs. the old 4-speed trucks.
Overall, very pleased with the new ride!

100% agree! Love the Coyote V-8! Smooth and powerful, like a V-8 should be.
What a performance upgrade. And sounds awesome.
I was reading that 0-60 in a Screw 3.73 is 7.18 seconds and a quarter mile in the low to mid 15s.
Sounds about right.
When the truck is nice and broken in, floor it at about 15-20mph. That sucker will downshift into 1st and the tires may break loose. You'll be hitting the breaks in no time.

Feels like I'm driving a sports car again Before I got my F150, I had a heavy, lumbering SUV for 3 years and a 1998 Dodge pickup for 10 years.
