Moonroof wouldnt close today - 2011

Guys, has anybody had this issue. My moonroof wouldn't close today when i got to work. It would close a few inches then bounce back. I thought maybe i had the headline push back to far, so I take it to a local Ford dealer 5 minutes from work and when i got there it closed but as it close it pulled off some of the rubber from inside the roof. This is the second time it pulled the rubber off and stuck to the window. The shop said the system wasnt adjusted right form the factory so they lower it a bit and know its fine. If anybody notices the rubber stuck to the glass, go have it checked.

Hmm, I also had a problem with my sunroof. I heard a loud rattling when it was open, and I took it in to be looked at. Turns out the sunroof was hitting a crossbeam in the roof because it came from the factory warped, lol. But the dealership took great care of me, pulled one off a new truck they had just gotten in and put it on mine. Had my truck back by the time I got off work that day. So, my experience was pretty positive overall.

Take it in. If it wasn't under warranty I'd take a look at lubing the track.

Be careful with that sunroof. The two main connectors on the track system are plastic. They are very easy to break. They are only $70 at dealer, but no fun to replace
