Some new add-on's...

Today I got my box Line-X'd and my Trail FX rubber bed mat came in so I am going to install that this afternoon and finish it off by installing my Delta under the rail CheckerPlate tool box!

I'm thinking you should give the box a week (minimum) to breath before putting a bed mat on it. It might seem hard, and cured, but placing a rubber mat on it will cause adhesion issues. Don't do it. You'll be sorry.

line-x needs 24 hours to cure, up to a week before pressure washing. as long as you hold off 24 hrs to put the mat in you should be fine. why are you installing a bed mat and using line-x? seems kind of pointless imo

Sorry, my post was mis-leading, the box has been Line-X'd for a month, I just got the Trail FX bed mat today.

Because I want my Line-X to look like brand new the day I sell or trade it, I have a fiberglass tonneau on it so the box wont get used much. Im kinda picky with my toys...

did you not get the extra sprayed so it won't fade and stay glossy?

You should put a bra on the front end, a carpet pad on the dash and slip covers on all the seats as well.

Maybe just put her under a car tarp till you're ready to sell.

If you want the line-x to look new when you sell it then abuse the hell out of it to the point it needs to be re-sprayed and have them spray it again just before you sell it. Lifetime warranties are awesome that way!

I did this with my ranger and they had no problems doing it for free. They did ask what I had been using the truck for because they had never had one that needed the whole bed re-sprayed before, only patched. Don't let them just patch it, looks like crap.

Wow, people on this site are so quick to jump on others and bash them. I like my stuff to look like NEW when im ready to sell or trade, so I get top dollar. I take great pride in my trucks, quads, boats etc. Im not sure why my Line-X'd box and rubber bed mat bothers you guys?

I don't get that either, don't worry about it. I'd do the same thing
