Air pressure sensor

I took off my stock rims and tires and added some new 35's ( with a 6" lift ) after the install I now have to reprogram the speedo and my air pressure sensor warning is on.

How do you reset the sensor. And what is everyone using to recalibrate the speedo.

Thanks
C

If you moved the sensors to the new wheel, you should not have to do a reset of the sensors. If they were not moved, then you either you need to move them, buy new, or live with the light.

As far as the speedo, I installed a chip which you can set the new tire size and automaticly calibrates your speedo. When I did my lift and tires, the shop that did the work messed up one of my sensors and installed a new one. The computer still read that my sensors had a fault. Come to find out, there is a section in your owners manual that talks about retraining your tpms. You have to have a special training tool, which is supposidly a strong magnet, to retrain each sensor. I ended up taking my truck to the service department at my nearest ford dealer and they retrained the computer FREE of charge and only took about 5 min. May want to try and do the same. If not, ive looked up the training tools online and you can find them fairly cheap if really wanted one. Good luck
