WTF is their problem? This is the most absurd thing I have ever heard.

I had a similar issue with leaking power steering line. However they could not just change the line. The line is an assembly that is attached to a module and actuator I beleive. It was a $500 part... mine just happened to fail just after waranty ended.

In any case... not to offend, but this is retarded.

I have know clue what their issue is, I understand that the paper work for a new truck needs to be reviewed by higher up managment and that is understandable but man I feel like it shouldnt have gone this far.

Sorry to hear about your issue after the warranty, that always sucks even more when its just after your factory warrenty runs out.

Oh yeah today is day 52!

^ I'm guessing they won't call you and hope you get your truck and go away. I would keep pressing and buggin folks at the corporate level.

Seems like it, that would be a shame. But I'm not gonna go anywhere and will take this as far as it needs to go until I get a new truck.

Well the person I have been dealing with at corporate finally called today, but said and did nothing new. Still can't get the part and when asked about the paper filled to get a new truck she said I started it but won't know until next week hopefully. I'm gonna call back in a few and try to speak with a person above her if not ill be hiring an attorney.

I don't know about your State, but in FL Lemon Law claims are filed through the BBB. I filed a claim through them in March on my 2009 Touareg TDI. They put VW in touch with me on Monday and by Wednesday I had a settlement. The only reason that I didn't get a new truck was becaus eit was 20 months old and I was told the banks won't play that way on vehicles older than a year. Bottom line is that I think you cab save yourself the time and troube of finding an attorney and still acieve satisfactory results. Hope everything works out well for you.

Day 56 with no truck, I'm suppose to hear this coming Thursday from Ford as to whether or not they are going to replace my truck, by then it will be day 60 since my truck has been at the shop. Hopefully they will step up to the plate and do the right thing here. I'll keep you guys posted as soon as I hear something good or bad but hopefully it will be good.

Jeez, I can only imagine how hammered the exterior of the truck is getting just sitting in the back-lot of the dealer for 60 days.

Yeah I know, it rained a few times but then its been 90 plus for awhile so I know the exterior is gonna be destroyed. Also the rotors are probably pitted by now, also probably flat spots on the tires from sitting. Not to sure how the engine will fair for sitting that long not being started.

Hey guys well Ford contacted me today and they have approved my case for a new truck. The department that handles the replacements should contact me within the next few days and fill me in on how this process goes. Ill keep you updated as to how that goes, but so far it seems like we are heading in the right direction.
