Anyone managed to jury-rig a cabin air filter into the 2011 F150?

Every truck I have ever had has had one. Farming around here, with the windows down and the A/C on, you basically have to have one to keep the A/C blowing.

Know a guy who had a 2004 and, at one point, he had to disconnect the blower hoses and wash the dirt clods out with a garden hose.

That being said, there is no cabin filter in the new Fords, and they are the only truck being sold in the country that does not have one. Has anyone managed to stick one in these trucks successfully?

I've seen plenty of threads that ask if there is one, but they are all full of garbage responses. If you've pulled the blower motor apart at all and managed to install a kit, or built one yourself, or anything to the like, then your help is greatly appreciated. If your post only bashes on the fact that I want a cabin air filter in a truck, or to tell me I need to get a Cadillac if I want luxury, then take it somewhere else.

Back in the day it was possible to retrofit a Navigator filter into the 10th gen Expys, but I'm still amazed at why they don't add this. Seriously, its like $10

My wife drives an '03 Escape and I annually change out the filter that Ford forgot to put in at the factory. After just one year of commuting on black top, it is amazing how nasty it is. I don't check mine in my woods truck and can only imagine how nasty it is. Or, I assume it has one, '08, as my AC vents aren't dusty like my old '88 would get.
