You can definitely tell this truck is a v6 but the turbo's sound sweet!

Chevy and Dodge produce a better truck...compared to what? You must mean compared to what THEY build now. I know you aren't saying better than Ford.

I think it sounds pretty good. I would do it for performance gains.

You need to reread what he said. He was saying that with the pressure Ford has put on Chevy and Dodge, it will force them to build a better truck then what they currently have available, to compete with what Ford is currently offering.

Yep, I spanked a 2 door ram with my screw. Enough to completely pass him with easily a 1 1/2 car length. I'm impressed with the acceleration of these trucks, especially considering the weight factor.

Yeah, and lets not forget tacking on $7835 for the diesel upgrade, plus $3145 for the 4x4 option to the F250, etc, etc.

Apples to Oranges my friend. Comparing a f250 to a 150 is ridiculous. A new 20011 F250 Lariat compared to my 2011 F150 Lariat screw EB cost about an additional easy $10-15k right off the bat. 2k to run 12s??? HA!

I wonder if it's something to do with the camera microphone or what, but my truck makes absolutely zero turbo whine. I've yet to hear an EB that produced any turbo whine other than the videos in this thread and the video of the desert race trucks.

It's the high flow cat and gutted exhaust system. Ford probally spent tons of $$ on R&D to get rid of that sound (not wanted by most buyers). That's why the aftermarket systems are making such huge numbers. The exhaust is so choked up stock, it now breaths freely. Reminds me of highly modified diesels

F-350 is $55k OTD, a ecoboost is $40k OTD. A ecoboost F150 can't tow my 40ft fifth wheel or my 12k boat! So yes a F350 is a wise choice for me.

Another ignorant diesel person, once spartan gets the tunes for the 6.7 figured out, this truck will be a animal! I ridden in their 200HP war hammer tuned truck and did a 13.7 with a 1.9 60' time. Why don't you go and educate yourself some on the 6.4 with a spartan tune, than come back and we can talk big boy trucks.
Thanks for the constructive post?

Coming from a guy with a 07 F150. So you have mules now moving your 12k boat and 40ft 5th wheel? Since you don't even have a F350.

The EB F150 does what I need it to do and does it well. Tows my boat no problem. My summer home don't have wheels... so no need to worry about that either.

Get used to it, seems like any thread about the EB brings the haters out in full force. It gets old but after a while you learn to ignore their moronic rants.
