Sync Not Going Into Folders in Thumb Drive?
For the last week while waiting for my FX2 EB to be delivered, the dealer was nice enough to give me a demo Platinum to drive around for the time being. It had the Nav system and my truck does not.
I have about 10 gigs on a thumb drive worth of MP3's. There are about 100 in the root directory and then the rest are sorted by Artist in many many folders within the drive.
With this setup, the Nav let me browse through every folder and every artist. I got my truck yesterday and unfortunately it only lets me see those artists and songs that are in the main or root directory. It also says it can't play protected content and won't allow me to voice activate any of those songs to be played.
Any ideas or suggestions? Do I have to have them all in the root directory? I don't see how the Nav system can see it and my regular stereo can't.
