Dealer Invoice-Dealer Cost
#17
The owner's may know the actual cost of each vehicle but the manager's,finance men and sales staff play their little game to squeeze the most they can out of you from the list price to the financing percentage. Dealer invoices are usually bogus anyway. I bought my truck using my wife's VPP plan and the two Ford rebates, one for financing with Ford (for 2 month's) and one for a trade in credit. This was the best I could do back in Feburary and these totaled to 9K off. I've seen people go in at the end of the month and plop down the cash and walk out with some great deal's. Maybe the best way to buy if you can afford it!

I would think the invoice would be closer to 33k on a price of 36,600. At 27,600, with only 3500 in rebates, I don't see how they are making anything, unless there are some dealer rebates that they are including. These can be specific to individual dealers to entice them to move product.
